JESSICA GUNJAL OF OASIS INDIA WILL BE WITH US JUNE 17th IN SPRINGWATER AT 7.30pm
Jessica will be sharing about her work with trafficked women in Mumbai and highlighting the new training centre that is being built to facilitate a sustainable lifestyle for the women. We are building up close relationships with her, and a team of Compassionate Loaf bakers will visit Jessica in October to begin the baking workshops in partnership with Oasis India.
An initiative that Oasis India is running this year is the CHRISTMAS BOX.
The "CHRISTMAS BOX" focuses on providing work for women from marginalised backgrounds who are being assisted by Oasis India. The boxes can be ordered throughout June and will provide guaranteed work for women in India. The boxes will be delivered in November.
Each box consists of Christmas themed bunting, ornaments and a table runner with eight place-mats. The themes in the box are Starry Nights, Winter Wonderland, Deck the Halls and White Christmas.
Order forms can be found at Springwater Church or by contacting the church office.
